Anja looked after our dog, Rex, for two days while I was away recently. 

He is not the easiest dog in the world (he can be rather reactive), but she spent time to completely put him at ease and he behaved impeccably for her!

This week I had three incredible salads from Chickpea Hub that absolutely hit the spot—healthy, delicious, and perfect for the hot weather. Each one was packed with fresh, vibrant ingredients and bold flavors that made eating well feel like a treat rather than a chore. The free dog walk gave me 90 minutes to shop and visit Garsons for fresh fish while my dog Nelly enjoyed a shaded riverside walk. Later, I joined the tortilla-making session with The Chickpea Hub — a lovely experience that combined fresh ingredients and nutrition. The wholesome tortillas were the perfect light meal for a hot day and went down a treat with my brother-in-law. A thoughtful service and a delicious start to the weekend. (Lucy, 11 July 2025) 

I first met Anja when my dog was in her care. Later, when I discovered her nutrition business, I was curious to learn more and decided to join her eight-week programme.
Each week, I received practical, easy-to-follow guidance that helped me build healthier habits step by step. What made the experience truly special were the little extras — from trying Bircher Müsli, courgettes from her allotment, or gooseberry kefir, to experimenting with new recipes like homemade oatcakes. Even thoughtful touches like a birthday card made me feel supported and motivated throughout.
The tips, tricks, and regular interactions encouraged me to move more, start yoga, walk daily, and stay hydrated. I still occasionally receive fresh vegetables or a podcast recommendation, which is such a lovely reminder of the journey I’ve started.
Now I feel more confident, energetic, and stronger. With my personalised meal plan and resource folder to refer back to, I know I can continue making positive changes.

I first met Anja through Rover, and we quickly became friends when I started bringing Wilbur to her for day care three times a week. He always enjoys his walks and then loves cooling down on the cold floor afterwards. I’ve noticed he has even become less fussy with his food.
One of the highlights for me is receiving photos — whether it’s Wilbur joining in with yoga sessions and attempting “puppy pose” with a little twist, or simply relaxing at home. He has also grown comfortable with Roxy, Anja’s cat. The other day I even got a picture of Wilbur asleep under the chair while Roxy was snoozing on top — such a lovely sight!
Whenever we visit, we always feel welcome, whether it’s with a cup of tea or a friendly chat. It’s not just doggy day care, it’s a genuinely warm and caring relationship that Wilbur and I both enjoy. (Mandy, 9 September 2025)

Cat Sitting

I offer gentle, dependable cat care designed to keep your feline relaxed and content while you're away. Whether it's a short trip or an extended break, your cat stays happy at home with their usual routine.

Cat Feeding:
Daily visits to feed your cat, refresh water bowls, and ensure everything is clean and cosy. I follow your instructions carefully — whether it’s wet food, dry food, or a combination — to keep mealtimes familiar and stress-free.

 Cat Sitting:
In addition to feeding, I provide calm, caring companionship with time for play, cuddles (if welcomed!), and litter tray cleaning. I keep an eye on your cat’s wellbeing and send you updates for peace of mind.

Extra services include watering plants, taking bins out, and light home checks — so you can relax knowing your home and cat are in good hands.

About

My name is Anja Conway

Hello! I’m Anja Conway, and my passion for health and nutrition started over 15 years ago when my fitness trainer, Adam Cox, helped me understand the crucial link between diet and overall wellbeing. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in healthy living, drawing inspiration from experts like Saskia Gregson-Williams, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Tim Spector, and Dr. Chris van Tulleken. Their work, along with programs like Hello Fresh, Gousto, and Mindful Chef, led me to explore nutrition further and ultimately pursue studies in this field.

Mindfulness, exercise, and relaxation are just as important to me as nutrition. Throughout the pandemic, I found guidance from coaches like Joe Wicks, David Weller, and yoga instructors such as Adriene Louise Mishler, Kassandra Reinhardt, and Luchin Mischke. These practices have shaped my approach to well-being.

My mission now is to share my passion for healthy eating and living with my community. I draw inspiration from Dr. Saliha Mahmood Ahmed’s The Kitchen Prescription and Alex Hely-Hutchinson’s 26 Grains to create delicious, nourishing recipes. At home, we’ve been growing our own produce with an allotment we started two years ago, which will eventually replace our organic Riverford vegbox—but not yet! The vegbox has been essential in keeping our meals vibrant and nutritious while providing new ingredients for exciting recipes.

Nothing happened overnight—every little adjustment I made over time turned into a lasting habit, and it’s those habits that eventually led to success. It’s a process I now share with others on their own health journeys.

When I’m not focused on my new career path, you’ll find me enjoying time with my Siberian Forest cat, Roxy, and planning to add a dog to our family soon. Pets, I believe, bring so many benefits to our well-being, including reducing stress and promoting physical activity.
